The Chaar Sahibzade (Punjabi: ਚਾਰ ਸ਼ਹੀਦਾਂ), also known as the Four Sons of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, were four young boys who were martyred by the Mughals in the 18th century. They are revered by Sikhs as symbols of courage, faith, and sacrifice.
The four Sahibzade were:
Ajit Singh (1687-1705): The eldest son of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, Ajit Singh was a brave and fearless warrior. He was martyred at the age of 18 in the Battle of Chamkaur Sahib.
Jujhar Singh (1689-1705): The second son of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, Jujhar Singh was also a brave and fearless warrior. He was martyred at the age of 16 in the Battle of Chamkaur Sahib.
Zorawar Singh (1696-1705): The third son of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, Zorawar Singh was a young boy who was martyred at the age of 9 in Sirhind. He was bricked alive by the Mughals.
Fateh Singh (1699-1705): The youngest son of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, Fateh Singh was a young boy who was martyred at the age of 6 in Sirhind. He was bricked alive by the Mughals along with his brother Zorawar Singh.
